SPRYN – Self-Hosted Sprint Planning & Delivery Risk Tracker
A self-hosted alternative to Jira for small development teams. See sprint risk before it becomes sprint failure.
Most project management tools give you a task board and stop there. Spryn is built specifically for software teams running sprints. It tracks the signals that predict whether a sprint is likely to slip, days before your retrospective tells you it already did.
Run it on your own server. Own your data. Pay once instead of forever.
Why Teams Move Off Jira (or Skip Free Kanban Scripts)
Jira gets expensive and complex quickly. Small teams often pay monthly for features they rarely use. Many free and low-cost project management scripts provide task boards but offer little visibility into sprint outcomes.
Most tools tell you a sprint failed after it has already failed. Spryn highlights risk while there is still time to take action.
What Makes Spryn Different
-
Sprint Health Score
A live score that shows whether the current sprint is on track based on velocity, scope changes, and ticket movement. -
Early Risk Detection
Detect scope creep, stalled tickets, and capacity overruns during the sprint instead of after it ends. -
Capacity-Based Sprint Planning
Plan work using actual team capacity rather than assumptions. Backlog grooming is integrated into the planning workflow. -
List and Board Views
Switch between list and kanban views while working within the same sprint. -
Structured Sprint Retrospectives
Guided retrospective workflows help teams produce actionable outcomes instead of generic notes. -
AI-Assisted Planning and Retrospectives
Optional AI support for sprint planning and retrospective summaries. Use your own OpenAI or Anthropic API key. -
Clean Backlog by Default
Opinionated workflows help prevent backlog clutter and forgotten tickets. -
Role-Based Views
Tailored experiences for founders, CTOs, project managers, scrum masters, and developers.
Built For
Software teams that have outgrown Trello or Notion but find Jira too heavy for their needs.
Also ideal for agencies and organizations that want complete control over their project data and infrastructure.
