Forecasting Algorithms

StockPulse includes three proven statistical forecasting methods:

1. Simple Moving Average (SMA) — Equal weight to all days. Best when sales data is limited or products have stable demand.
2. Weighted Moving Average (WMA) — More weight on recent sales. Best for trending or seasonal products.
3. Exponential Smoothing (EXP) — Exponential decay weighting. Reacts quickly to demand changes.

In Auto mode (recommended), StockPulse selects the best algorithm based on your available sales history.
